Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued by RankHouse for digital marketing and SEO services.
1. General Principle
Due to the nature of SEO and digital marketing services, which involve time, manual work, and third-party coordination, all services are effort-based and non-tangible.
Refund eligibility is therefore limited as outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
A full refund is only available if:
- The project has not yet started, and
- No resources, research, or operational work has been allocated
Once any work has begun, the service becomes non-refundable.
3. Definition of “Work Started”
A project is considered started when any of the following has occurred:
- Client onboarding or project setup
- Keyword research or strategy preparation
- Website prospecting or site selection
- Outreach or communication with publishers
- Content creation or campaign preparation
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available for the following situations:
- Ongoing or completed campaigns
- Services already delivered (including published content or backlinks)
- Delays caused by third-party publishers or external platforms
- SEO performance outcomes, including rankings, traffic, or revenue changes
- Change of mind after project initiation
- Delays in providing required client inputs or approvals
Search engine performance depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.
5. Failed Delivery
If RankHouse is unable to complete a service as agreed:
- We will first offer a suitable replacement solution, or
- Provide a refund for the undelivered portion of the service
6. Link Building Services
For backlink-related services:
- If a placement cannot be secured, we will provide a replacement opportunity or refund for that specific placement
- If a link is removed after publication, our replacement policy applies as described in our Terms of Use
7. Third-Party Costs
Any costs already incurred for third-party services (including publisher fees or content-related expenses) are non-refundable once initiated.
8. Fair Use & Case-by-Case Review
While the above rules define our standard policy, RankHouse may review refund or replacement requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness.
9. Payment Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, subject to payment provider processing rules.
